In collaboration with international partners, critical medical support has reached affected communities — clinic renovation, essential medicines, hygiene kits, baby kits, safe delivery kits and ambulances for patient transport.
Focus remains on life-saving medical aid, hygiene, and maternal-child health — delivering emergency relief where it is needed most.
Beyond emergency relief, long-term initiatives include orphan sponsorship, tent schools to restore children’s education, and scholarships in Pakistan for Palestinian youth to complete medical and non-medical degrees.
On 7 October 2023, Gaza plunged into one of the worst humanitarian crises in recent history. Over 2.2 million Palestinians — including children, women and elderly — were displaced and deprived of clean water, food, infant milk, medical assistance and shelter.
Roshan Foundation, with partners already operating in Gaza and international chapters, launched emergency relief for displaced families — hot meals, clean water, dry milk, winter packs, canned food, ration packs, warm clothing, Eid gifts, Ramadan packs, sacrificial meat, fresh vegetables, medicines and more.
“And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive… We feed you only for the sake of Allah.”
(Surah Al-Insan, 76:8-9)

The Gaza crisis has entered its third year. More than 2.2 million Palestinians face unimaginable hardship. Volunteers in Gaza provide clean drinking water and Iftar meals daily through kitchen operations. Ramadan ration packs continue to be dispatched for delivery to displaced families.
Since October 2023, over 7,302 tons of relief aid worth PKR 9.791 billion has been delivered. Following ceasefire, the Rebuild Gaza campaign aims to restore life through residential support, hospital capacity, schools, masajid, clean water and orphan sponsorship.
WHO has warned that the entire population faces prolonged food shortages, with hundreds of thousands in catastrophic hunger. Weekly supplies prioritise canned food, dry milk, medicines, food packs, fresh vegetables and basic necessities when access allows.
