Roshan Foundation is committed to providing orphan and abandoned children with the support they need to lead a fulfilling life. Tens of thousands of children receive quality education, healthcare, nutritious food, clothing, and care through orphan programs nationwide — yet millions still lack basic necessities.
Through the Orphan Care Program and Orphan Family Support Program, we uplift social conditions of orphans in Pakistan. Family support covers education and everyday expenses for orphan children aged 16 or below, with mental, social, and moral growth through a multi-module framework.
Volunteers across districts help identify candidates. Support includes school fees, a quarterly allowance, and an educational kit (school bag, books, stationery, seasonal uniforms, and shoes). A Child Character Development Program supports moral and social growth.
We also enable interest-free livelihood support for mothers of orphaned children (e.g. sewing machines, cattle, or small business) and arrange routine health screenings and treatment when needed. Study centers provide a supportive learning environment.
Aghosh-style residential homes offer safe residential, recreational, and education facilities. Through family support we also connect donors with orphan boys and girls living with their families.
Orphans are among the most neglected. Poverty, illiteracy, hunger, and lack of social protection hover over their lives. Roshan Foundation’s comprehensive program — residential care and family support — brings donors close to children who need hope, education, and love.
